While Barra Tacos has been shuttered for more

than a year now in Upper Arlington, another Ohio-based taco shop appears to be taking over the space it once occupied.

According to building permits filed with the City of Upper Arlington, the Akron chain La Loma is taking over the former home of Barra Tacos, which is located at 3051 Northwest Blvd.

Barra opened its Upper Arlington location on early 2021, before closing in September of 2022.
