All-you-can-eat Brazilian steakhouse opening first Ohio location in Cbus this winter

If you find yourself constantly battling between ordering the steak or the pork loin, or even maybe the chicken or the lamb, a new restaurant is joining the Columbus culinary scene, and it’s one where you can have all of the above, all in one meal.

Fogo de Chão, the internationally renowned Brazilian steakhouse, announced yesterday that they would be opening their first Ohio location right here in Columbus. The new 7,245 square foot restaurant will be located at 1425 Polaris Parkway (a previous O’Charley’s), complete with an expansive dining room centered around an open churrasco grill, offering guests a 360-degree view of gaucho chefs butchering, hand carving, and grilling high-quality cuts of meats over an open flame.

This all-you-can eat restaurant offers an authentic Southern Brazilian experience. Fogo de Chão’s expansive menu features 11 different cuts of steaks to choose from, various chicken and pork options, raw seafood towers, specialty salads, and Brazilian-inspired sides, like warm pao de queijo and farofa, plus a ton more. The cold sides and vegetables are all-you-can-eat, buffet style, along with the cut meats that are continuously served table-side (but other sides and certain entrees will cost extra). You can check out their entire menu here!

Fogo’s concept all started with a family who grew up on the traditional Southern Brazilian farm in Serra Gaucha, where they learned a special beef grilling technique called “churrasco,” and decided they wanted to share it with the rest of the world. After opening restaurants throughout Brazil, they then conquered the American restaurant industry, bringing their Brazilian cooking expertise to Dallas, TX in 1997. Since, this restaurant chain has garnered global recognition, with locations even in Dubai and Mexico City.

A spokesperson for the restaurant told 614Now that they’re expecting to open this December.
