Anticipated bakery led by award-winning pastry chef opening second location this week

Sav McKee

He’s been featured on Food Network competitions and has been the star behind the counter, (and oven) as the pastry chef for local notable restaurants and cafes like The Refectory, Hilton Downtown Columbus, Parable, and most recently, Littleton’s.

Of course, we’re talking about the one & only award-winning Aaron Clouse, whose impressive background in French pastries will be extending to the North Market in the Short North this week.

Led by Clouse and Head Baker Desi Vasquez, Littleton’s Market is expanding their bakery offerings, officially opening up in the North Market booth where Omega Bakery was once located (they closed last year).

“This bakery embodies the heart and soul of what our market stands for—quality, tradition, and community. We can’t wait for our visitors to experience the exceptional offerings that Littleton’s brings to the table,” said Rick Harrison Wolfe, North Market’s Executive Director + CEO.

Guests can enjoy Littleton’s signature croissants, pastries, cookies, along with a full bread program including baguettes, sourdough, and a variety of specialty breads as well. The new setting also serves as a production facility for the original Littleton’s Market grocery store in Upper Arlington!

Littleton’s Market Bakery is set to open August 30, 2024. Retail hours of operation will be Sunday & Monday 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Tuesday – Friday 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. North Market is located at 59 Spruce St.
