Columbus brand dedicated to mocktails debuts at Land-Grant

Columbus is about to get a little more colorful and a lot more inclusive with the launch of A Mockery Mocktails, the brainchild of dynamic duo Kim Kambarami and Aly Wingler. As a black and LGBTQ-owned company, A Mockery Mocktails is not just another beverage brand; it’s a celebration of diversity, creativity, and the vibrant spirit of our city.

Kambarami and Wingler’s passion for crafting unique, non-alcoholic drinks shines through every bottle. Their exciting lineup includes the spicy kick of Spiced Mangorita, the refreshing zing of Watermelon Tart-Quila, the soothing notes of Old Lemony Lav, and the fruity burst of Berry Good Bramble.

“We aimed to create something special that everyone could enjoy, no matter their reason for choosing a mocktail. As people seek to drink less and prioritize health, my own experience during pregnancy taught me the importance of having options beyond basic drinks like diet coke or orange juice. A Mockery Mocktails provides that delicious alternative.” Wingler told 614Now.

What makes this launch even more exciting is their collaboration with none other than Land-Grant Brewing Company, a beloved local brewery that needs no introduction. As their co-packer and manufacturer, Land-Grant’s expertise will help ensure that each mocktail is crafted to perfection.

“Partnering with Land-Grant was a no-brainer for us. We both love Columbus and wanted to work with a brand that shares our mission, morals, and commitment to quality,” explains Kambarami.

Rachel Rudy, Senior Director of Marketing and Strategy from Land-Grant Brewing Company echoed their excitement about the collaboration, stating, “We’re excited to be the manufacturer and co-packer for A Mockery Mocktails. Soon, their mocktails will be available across our Franklinton campus. Our tagline, ‘All Welcome,’ reflects our commitment to inclusivity, ensuring everyone can enjoy a refreshing beverage, whether they choose alcohol or not. We’re looking forward to introducing A Mockery Mocktails to our community and offering new, delicious options for all our guests.”

By bringing together the best of Columbus’ entrepreneurial spirit and community love, Kambarami and Wingler are set to make a significant mark. Their mocktails are poised to become a delightful choice for those looking to enjoy a flavorful, non-alcoholic drink with friends, family, or on their own.

“We can’t wait for everyone to taste what we’ve been working on. It’s been a labor of love, and we think you’re going to love it too,” shares Wingler

As Kambarami and Wingler prepare to introduce A Mockery Mocktails to the world next week, they’re not just launching a product; they’re creating a space for everyone to feel included and celebrated.
