Just Chicken has left New Albany’s Bubbly Hall, but is eyeing a new Columbus location, in addition to a national expansion across multiple states.

The eatery–which focuses on a concise menu of chicken strips, fries and specialty sauces–recently left New Albany’s Bubbly Hall due to issues with management, Owner D’Andre Martin said, but now the concept is eyeing the opening of three new locations.

One of Just Chicken’s new locations is coming to The Collective Market, a food hall inside of the forthcoming Grandview Crossing development. The Collective Market, which is currently under construction, will be located just off Dublin Road in south Grandview. It’s slated to open later this year.

Additionally, Martin is adding a pair of locations, one in North Carolina and another in Maryland. The North Carolina store will be located in Charlotte’s Monarch Market, and is opening Jan. 27. The Maryland Just Chicken will be located in the Solarie Social Food Hall in Silver Springs, and will likely open in late February.

“It’s very exciting and it just shows me that all my hard work has paid off. To be able to grow from one store like this is amazing,” co-owner D’Andre Martin said. “Myself and [fellow co-owner] Mike [Johnson] are overwhelmed with excitement and joy. We just appreciate the support.”

Just Chicken also operates a location in the East Market.
