Columbus’ oldest craft brewery makes it on esteemed list of ‘30 Best Breweries in the Country’
A Columbus favorite since 1988 isn’t just loved by us locals – it’s now considered one of the best breweries in the entire country.
VinePair, a national publication centered around highlighting the best booze, beer, and wine in the country, released their annual list of “The 30 Best Breweries in the Country Right Now, According to Beer Pros,” and none other than our own Columbus Brewing Company made it on the list.

The VinePair team sid that CBC is, “…quite possibly the best IPA brewery that few people outside of Ohio know about. That’s because Columbus Brewing, which was founded in 1988, only sells beer in-state. The double IPA Bodhi delivers a golden tropical punch, while the dank and citrusy IPA is a fridge staple sold for around $20 per 15-pack. The brewery’s bright and spacious beer hall is a showcase for loads of lupulin rarities, from fresh-hop IPAs to hazy IPAs featuring experimental hop varieties. CBC has fast become one of my favorite breweries in town.”
Cheers to that.
