Downtown Kitchen & Bar closes doors after 8 years
In a bittersweet turn of events, Hadley’s Bar + Kitchen has closed its doors after eight vibrant years in Downtown Columbus.
Established in 2016, Hadley’s Bar + Kitchen emerged as a cherished addition to Downtown Columbus, blending rich history with contemporary dining experiences. The venue, originally a furniture store in the 1940s and 50s, unveiled a piece of its past during renovations: an original tile bearing the name “Hadley’s,” inspiring its reincarnation as a bustling bar and kitchen.
Hadley’s was part of a family of successful ventures including Grandview Cafe, The Railhouse, and Switch at the East Market. Beyond its renowned happy hours and diverse menu, Hadley’s served as a vibrant community hub where friends gathered for craft beers, Boozy Shakes, and a variety of flavorful dishes.
