According to 24/7 Tempo, a website that uses data and reviews to rate the best restaurants around the states, The Hamburger Inn Diner, located at 16 N. Sandusky St. in Delaware, OH, is the coolest, most iconic diner in Ohio. To determine which state they’d choose from each state, they reviewed diner listings from numerous food and regional tourism sites, and eliminated diner chains in favor of more traditional places instead.

Hamburger Inn Diner was known as the Senate Restaurant decades ago, offering meals for only 25 cents. In 1932, the Hudson Family purchased the Senate Restaurant. Rumor has it, it’s the oldest diner in Ohio.

Not only is the Hamburger Inn an incredible spot for savory breakfasts, but they’re also a bakery, offering homemade breads, cinnamon rolls, and pies, all fresh and never frozen.
