In early July, a popular spot for crispy chicken wings tossed in homemade sauces caught on fire, forcing it to temporarily close.

The Roosters located at 3370 Olentangy River Rd. announced they would be reopening ASAP after the fire, but since their initial announcement, it appears things have changed, and they won’t be opening until at least 2025.

“Unfortunately, the fire that occurred caused a lot more damage than we originally thought. We are sad to say that we do not foresee opening for the remainder of the year,” Roosters posted on Instagram.

The chicken wing eatery said they’ll continue to update everyone. “We thank you for your continued support, and we cannot wait to welcome you back.”
