From Chili Paneer Pizza to Chicken Tikka Masala pies, new Columbus-area eatery serving up pizza inspired by Indian dishes

A slogan writ large across the landing page of Hilliard’s Moon Pizza reads “Indian Spice in Every Dish,” and it’s not wrong.

The pizzeria–which opened in December of last year–doesn’t just offer a multitude of pizzas inspired by Indian food, these pizzas are the foundation of its menu.

Diners can opt for the kind of Indian-inspired pizzas many eateries offer–namely Chicken Tikka Masala–but Moon’s menu is far more expansive, including items like their Gongura Chicken Pizza (chicken with Gongura Chutney, mozzarella cheese, onions, bell peppers and cilantro), Chili Paneer Pizza (housemade paneer with bell peppers, onions, chilies, ginger, garlic, spicy masala sauce, mozzarella cheese and cilantro), the Bullet Pizza (Spicy green chili sauce made with garlic, mozzarella cheese, mushrooms, onions, black olives, bell peppers, ginger, jalapenos and cilantro) and many more.
