Here’s when Columbus’ newest Cameron Mitchell Restaurant will open

In less than a month, Easton will be home to Del Mar, Cameron Mitchell Restaurants’ (CMR) Mediterranean-inspired seafood eatery.

According to a social media post from CMR yesterday, Del Mar will officially open its Easton location on June 11.

The restaurant will be located at 4089 The Strand East, in Easton Town Center.

Earlier this year, when the Columbus restaurant group announced its official plans to bring the seafood spot to Easton, it also unveiled a new name for the Short North location of Del Mar, which is now SoCal Kitchen + Bar. The Easton eatery, however, will be known as Del Mar.

According to CMR President and COO David Miller in a January press release, the name change came about as the group’s Del Mar location in Naples and the Short North eatery had both “established their own unique feel and guest fan base.”
