High Bank Distillery Co. announces opening date of new location

In less than two weeks, High Bank Distillery Co.’s Westerville location will open to the public.

According to a social media post from the popular Distillery and restaurant, the new High Bank will open on Aug. 20. It’s located at 28 S. State St., in a historic former Westerville post office.

High Bank Westerville boasts a 3,600 square foot restaurant and bar complete with two patios, a retail store and exterior window connecting the space to Westerville’s DORA.

While the new location will keep the same food and cocktail menu, it will offer a unique surprise that the concept’s other restaurants don’t.

Paying tribute to the city of Westerville’s history as the former “Dry Capitol of the world,” the popular spot will operate a secret speakeasy, called P.O. Box 21, hidden somewhere within the building.

“You’ll just have to find out about it through word of mouth,” said owner Adam Hines.

The Westerville space is High Bank Distillery Co.’s third, after opening first in Grandview and expanding to Gahanna in 2022.

“This has been a long time coming….since 2019, I knew I wanted to open a High Bank in my home town of Westerville, Ohio. We’ve just been waiting for the perfect location in Uptown and we finally found it. Being just down the street from the original Henry Corbin saloon that inspired the entire story of our award-winning Whiskey War brand is epic.”
