Hot Leggs food truck holds grand opening

A new food truck with a name that might cause you to double take has opened to the public.

The Hot Leggs food truck held its grand opening on Sept. 27 at Staas Brewing Co.

If you assumed from the name that the new concept is selling turkey legs, you’d actually be wrong. The truck specializes in chicken wings and cauliflower bites.

According to Kyle Rayburn, who owns and operates the concept alongside his father, Mark Rayburn, his reference to chicken wings as “leggs” comes from a previous food service job he had.

The military-themed menu will regularly feature several regular sauces—Major Buffalo, Cpt. “Sweet Baby” Ray, Sgt. “Lemon” Pepper” and General Tso—in addition to three rotating sauces inspired by international cuisines.

You can Follow Hot Leggs on Instagram to find out where they’ll be next.
