Local, award-winning restaurant announces a new Cbus location – and it’s opening this month

There’s a restaurant in Columbus that paved the way for the “build your own taco” concept, all the way back in 2014, in a cool atmosphere near the Short North.

Now, a decade later, Condado Tacos not only opened twenty other locations in Ohio, but 50 nationwide. And now? There will be one more spot in Columbus to grab tacos, queso, and margaritas.

Condado is officially opening at the Lower.com Field, located at 96 Columbus Crew Way, in the former spot known as “The Pub.”

“We are delighted to bring the Condado experience to Lower.com Field. Our roots are in Columbus, and we see a fantastic opportunity to connect with the passionate Crew fan base,” said Sara Kear, Chief Marketing Officer of Condado Tacos. “This location is not just about great food and drinks; it’s about creating memorable moments for fans who share our love for sports, community, and quality experiences.”

They’ll be set to open for the Crew’s home opener on Saturday, February 24, with a special menu featuring a curated selection of margs, beers, and their signature menu favorites. The entire space will be decorated in a Columbus Crew theme, which marks the first of its kind.

Some more important details to note:

  • For now, Condado will open one hour before gate times at Lower.com Field, and eventually, all year round in collaboration with the development of Astor Park.
  • You can grab a seat at the bar, opt for self-seating, or pick up a “to-go” taco to bring to your stadium seat.
  • Condado will be open for all Lower.com ticketed events
