Local bakery owner “feels like Meta is cyber bullying” after IG account removed again

For the second time since June, the Instagram account of Tous Les Jours’ Columbus location has been—at least temporarily—removed.

According to Tasha Mascareno, Social Media Manager at PeakReach Management, the company manages the social media pages of Tous Les Jours Columbus storefront, the bakery has had its Instagram account suspended for the second time in months. The account was removed earlier this month.

Its account of 25,000 followed was removed in June of this year as well. Tous Les Jours was forced to start a brand new account. It reached 3,000 followers befored it was removed again.

“They keep saying they are violating guidelines but we are not. We are doing nothing wrong. All we post is our bakery items and hours we are open,” Mascareno said.

She noted that, after speaking to multiple to multiple IT specialists, she believes someone is constantly reporting the bakery’s account.

Mascareno said they have contacted an attorney and have taken the case to the Ohio Attorney General.
