Local restaurateur opening new concept next month – an all-you-can-eat, Mongolian-style BBQ grill

Some of you may know Justin Ye by his popular local restaurants, Wild Ginger Asian Fusion and Ye’s Asian Vegan Kitchen.

Adding to Ye’s central Ohio restaurant success is WY Mongolian Grill, his newest, all-you-can-eat, Mongolian-style concept, which he’s planning on opening in mid-March, dependent on inspections and licenses.

WY Mongolian Grill will feature a buffet where customers get to choose their own base, such as noodles and rice, then pack their bowl with as much protein, vegetables, and sauces as they prefer. They then bring their concoction to the chefs, and they’ll cook it right in front of guests, similar to BD’s Mongolian Grill, according to Ye. If the buffet aspect doesn’t suit you, they’ll also feature a Chinese food menu.

Cocktails, wine, and beer are expected at this new restaurant, as well.

The Mongolian-barbeque style restaurant will be located at 8633 Columbus Pike in Lewis Center, in the 6,000 square foot space that once housed Asian Garden Buffet before they closed two years ago.

“I’m most excited that this concept is so different from Wild Ginger,” Ye explained. “I like the idea of bringing a new concept to Lewis Center.”
