Local vegan restaurant transitioning to start serving meat on their menu

A local restaurant & haven for vegans craving General Tso’s and dumplings is changing things up…quite a bit.

Ye’s Asian Vegan, located at 2469 Hilliard Rome Rd. in Hilliard, has confirmed that starting in June, they’ll be offering seafood, beef, chicken, pork, and other animal products for the first time since opening in 2018.

A member of the Ye’s team told 614Now, “The vegan business is bad. We don’t have that many vegan based customers.”

The good news is that they’ll still keep some of their vegan options. That beloved Sesame Tofu isn’t going anywhere.

Ye’s isn’t sure exactly which date in June yet, but once they make the transition, they’ll be closing for a day or two to deep clean and bring in the new animal-based products to the store, and they’ll be creating an entirely new menu, which will feature traditional Chinese food.
