Meet the Ohio based, speakeasy-style ramen eatery one website said serves the ‘best ramen in the world’

Just when you thought the speakeasy trend had started to run its course, you uncover a truly unique twist on it.

Instead of craft cocktails, this popular Springfield, Ohio concept is operating as a ramen speakeasy. And according to one Only in Your State story, it’s serving some of the best you can get anywhere.

The eatery, which now also operates a second location called Speakeasy Miso, offers quality ramen, sushi and more from a setting that mixes elements of both a speakeasy and a dive bar. The restaurant, which is located 365 Ludlow Ave., was formerly home to Nifty 50’s Bar.

Only in Your State recommends diners start with crab rangoon before diving into a bowl of ramen. You can also grab ribs, a fried chicken slider and more.

Speakeasy Miso, a spinoff concept located in Troy, Ohio, boasts a more diverse menu that includes everything from poke and Korean fried chicken sandwiches to bahn mi and crab rangoon fries.
