In late 2022, the historic Buxton Inn caught fire and closed for nearly six months. Nearly a year and a year and a half after reopening, the Inn appears to be for sale.

The historic property is listed for sale on multiple realty websites, including Zillow and LoopNet and more.

The listing price for the nearly 11,000 square foot Inn is $1,950,000.

According to the listing, the property is zoned as a hotel, restaurant, event space, art gallery, specialty retail, medical clinic, spa, fitness center and for religious use, meaning its new owners don’t necessarily need to continue operating the space as a hotel.

At 212 years old, the Buxton Inn is billed as “Ohio’s oldest continuously operating inn,” and has even housed multiple celebrity guests throughout its tenure, including Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Garner, Henry Ford, and Yo-Yo Ma.
