New eatery serving smash burgers, scratch made New York-style pizza and ‘lots of wine’ opens

A new restaurant offering everything from burgers and chicken sandwiches to scratch-made pizza—in addition to a wine bar—is open in Canal Winchester.

Ella’s Kitchen & Bar, which is located at 6462 Canal Winchester Rd., opened its doors to the public in May.

The new central Ohio eatery offers a variety of smash burgers, their Dixie Fried Chicken Sandwich in addition to a number of other deli-style sandwiches.

Ella’s also creates New York-style pizzas with scratch-made dough. Diners can opt for a number of speciality pies like the Diavola, made with San Marzano tomatoes, smoked provolone and mozzarella cheese, Romano cheese and pepperoni and the Flying Pig, which features house ranch, smoked provolone and mozzarella cheese, applewood bacon, chicken breast, red onion, arugula and chipotle creme.

According to its social media profiles, the concept also offers “lots of wine,” offering dozens of varieties, plus craft beer and cocktails.
