Now-closed Irish pub converted to sophisticated restaurant & cocktail bar, opening this fall

A former downtown Gahanna Irish pub will soon transition into an all American restaurant.

The owner of the former pub O’Tooles, Joe Grundey, is transforming the now-closed restaurant and pub into a new concept, dubbed “Three Creeks Kitchen & Cocktails.”

Grundey and the new restaurant, located at 258 Granville St., will have help from many local restaurant icons around the city, including executive chefs (and partial owners) Andrew Hillis and Alexandra Serfaty. Serfatey served as Pistacia Vera’s previous patisserie chef, and as a sous chef and pastry chef for Cameron Mitchell Restaurants for almost a decade. Hillis was a chef at The Worthington Inn and will use his knowledge of classic American cuisine to create an exceptional, “New-American” menu for Three Creeks, featuring steaks, seafood, sandwiches, and desserts.

“We specialize in New American cuisine, infusing each dish with chef-inspired creativity and local flavors,” said Three Creeks. Our atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between natural sophistication and warmth, making every guest feel at home. Join us for an unforgettable experience where culinary excellence meets neighborhood charm.”

The new restaurant is anticipated to open this fall, serving sophisticated dinners and a special happy hour with discounted appetizers and cocktails.
