Ohio pizzeria known for viral speciality pies dispels rumors that eatery is for sale

According to owner Jeff Ross, Roscoe’s Pizza isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

While internet rumors of Roscoe’s selling to a new owner have been making the rounds over the last few days, Ross addressed them as untrue in a recent social media post.

“I’m not sure how this rumor got started, and I just heard it yesterday,” Ross wrote on Roscoe’s Facebook page on July 15. “We have not sold, we are not for sale and we have had nobody inquire about purchasing this place.”

Roscoe’s is located in Corwin, Ohio, about an hour southeast of Downtown Columbus. Ross also noted that the business is doing well and has been retaining employees for multiple years.

Offering more than 100 different speciality pies, Roscoe’s is best-known for its Elvis-inspired pizza—featuring peanut butter, banana, pizza cheese and honey—which has gone viral in recent years.

Its most recent unique pie? The Stuffed Doritos Pizza. This new temporary pizza features their “Crack base” (cream cheese, sour cream, and ranch seasoning mixed together), crushed Doritos, breaded chicken, bacon, pizza cheese, and cheddar cheese.
