Owners of wood-fired pizza truck launching new focaccia sandwich concept

The owners of the Elevated Wood Fired Pizza have launched another concept, and it’s all about sandwiches.

Named Elevated Kitchen, the new food truck opened earlier this year, travels throughout central Ohio.

You can find the truck at a handful of Columbus-area locations throughout the summer. Their schedule over the coming months can be viewed here.

The new concept swaps out pizza for scratch-made focaccia bread (which is created in-house daily), which is used to create a variety of sandwiches, including their Caprese Sandwich, the Parma Sandwich (prosciutto di parma, burrata cheese and arugula) and the Toscano Sandwich (toscano salami, pecorino toscano cheese and hot honey).

Elevated Kitchen also offers a pair of salads, and creates fresh baked goods regularly as well, including a variety of tarts, croissants and cookies.
