Parisian & Korean fusion bakery sensation opening Columbus location this year

Sav McKee

Last year, buzz started circulating that the famous South Korean bakery, known for their croissants, puffed pastries, tarts, donuts, cakes, and so much more, could be coming to Columbus. Well, we have great news – not only is the bakery opening in Polaris area like 614Now reported last year, but city permits show they’re making their way to Easton, too.

Paris Baguette, this extremely popular bakery sensation that fuses Parisian & Korean flavor profiles and pastry techniques, will be opening in the former LemonShark Poke restaurant at Easton, located at 3969 Merchants Row, according to permits.

This bakery concept started in South Korea in 1986, and since coming to the United States in 2005, they’ve opened 140 bakeries in the U.S., plus 4,000 others across the globe.

Their popularity stems from their gorgeous, aesthetically pleasing desserts, that most importantly, taste incredible too. Sweet options include slices of yogurt cakes, berry pastries, cookie butter latte cream donuts, plus savory options such as ham & cheese croissants, crab meat croquettes, hash brown bread, and even caramelized onion & bacon quiches. Not to mention an entire gourmet sandwich and salad selection too, along with teas, coffee, and decadent lattes.

While we don’t have an exact opening date for their Polaris and Easton locations, we do know that according to a press release, even more Paris Baguettes are slated to open in the central Ohio region! Franchisee Ebram Bostros, an Ohio native and pharmacist, plans to bring a total of 3-4 Paris Baguette storefronts here.
