Popular bakery known for indulgent pastries and more bringing spinoff concept to North Market

Jack McLaughlin

It’s been quite a year for Columbus pastry chef Aaron Clouse, and now he and Littleton’s Market are on the way to the North Market Downtown.

Littleton’s Market Bakery, a pastry-focused spinoff of Littleton’s Market in Upper Arlington, will likely open this summer in the North Market Downtown.

The concept will include a “cutting-edge” production facility in addition to a retail bakery and cafe. Clouse, who became immensely popular among Columbus foodies following the Instagram-worthy pastries he’s put out over the last few years, will lead Littleton’s Market Bakery.

The bakery will offer baguettes, focaccia, artisan hearth breads, sourdoughs, in addition to croissants, cookies, scones and other desserts.

“The new location presents an exciting canvas for us to showcase our passion for artisanal baking and creative flavors. The bustling energy of the North Market, with diverse vendors and passionate foodies, ignites our passion for crafting exceptional desserts,” Clouse said in a press release. “Being a part of this community is more than selling our pastries, but sharing our love for handcrafted goods with a community that appreciates the quality and creativity.”

The new concept will be located in the North Market’s southwest corner.
