Popular Brewery District restaurant returns after hiatus
“We’ve been working hard to get back,” said a popular restaurant known for fresh Thai food.
Basil Thai, which was a Brewery District favorite for awhile, recently announced on social media that they’ve made a return to the exact same spot they resided in for years before deciding to close their restaurant a couple of years ago, at 460 S. Front St.
The restaurant will operate a little differently though – instead of opening up their dining room, Basil Thai will operate as a delivery and pickup restaurant for now.

It’s still unclear when they’ll be reopening their dining room, but guests can finally order Basil’s popular Pad Thai again, or some of their famous Panang Coconut Curry, or some Drunken Noodles Kee Mow.
They’re currently open Monday through Friday, 11 a.m.-8:30 p.m., and 5:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
