I’ll take a pistachio iced latte with a side of the pistachio milk cake, please!

A popular, Michigan-based coffee chain known for their delicious lattes and desserts using authentic, Yemeni-inspired spices and flavors, is opening their second central Ohio location this weekend.

Qamaria Yemeni Coffee is holding their soft opening on Saturday March 23 at 8911 S. Old State Road in Lewis Center, from 7am-3:00am (yes, you read that correctly! They’re open late for Ramadan). Those 7am-3am hours will take place until Ramadan is over (April 9), and then new hours will be announced shortly after.

The owners claim that this is “Ohio’s biggest coffee house,” boasting plenty of seating in gorgeous, Arabic-inspired, textile-covered lounge sofas.

The newest coffee franchise location in central Ohio will be owned by three college students, one who attends OSU and the other two who attend Columbus State Community College. The menu features a variety of Yemeni teas, concentrated coffees, and sweet yet nutty lattes, plus a plethora of dessert options.

There’s another Qamaria Yemeni Coffee franchise located at 3221 Hilliard Rome Rd., which is gaining popularity for their unique flavors, hospitality, and ambiance in general. You can read more about that owner and the history behind this fascinating coffee here!
