Popular Columbus eatery introduces pho burrito

Sometimes, in life, you just have to throw caution to the wind and go big. For Lisa Bui, owner of 6-1-Pho, that time is now.

Yesterday, 6-1-Pho officially introduced its Pho-Ritto, a new dish combining the best parts of pho with the portability and indulgence of the burrito.

“In the summer time, hot soup isn’t as appetizing so I saw this on the West Coast and decided to try it out,” Biu told 614Now.com. “It’s a better option for summer and another reason for someone to learn about Vietnamese food.”

The dish combines onions, beansprouts, cilantro, basil, Jalapenos, crunchy fried onions, hoisin, Sriracha and lime, served with Sriracha mayo or peanut sauce for $11.75.

The unique burrito was introduced yesterday, and Bui said customers are already eating it up. Literally. 6-1-Pho is located at 4386 N. High St.
