Popular fried chicken chain is taking over this former burger restaurant

You know what they say – when one Burger King closes, another Popeyes opens. 

That’s the case in this situation, at least. The Easton area Burger King at 4060 Morse Crossing Rd. may have shuttered their doors, but Popeyes is soon to open there, according to city permits and city engineers.

According to the permits, transforming this former Burger King into a Popeyes is estimated to cost $1.5 million in interior and exterior renovations, which some would say is worth it for their iconic fried chicken and nationwide famous biscuits. 

As of right now, Popeyes has not released an opening date. This will be the Easton area’s first Popeyes restaurant.
