Popular fried chicken chain opening another central Ohio location
We might have to change our name from Capital City to Chicken City at this point.
Yet another Chick-Fil-A is in the works and undergoing construction, this time in Lewis Center.
Although Chick-Fil-A hasn’t yet commented on when the restaurant will open, construction fencing and a ‘Coming Soon’ sign just went up on the corner of U.S. Route 23, on Columbus Pike and Meadows Park Ave.

This is a new build, near a parking lot and shopping center that’s currently being redeveloped.
Currently, another Chick-Fil-A is in the works on Polaris Parkway. The former Mackenzie River Grill, which closed this year, will be demolished to make way for the new fried chicken chain. Then, the Atlanta-based brand also bought the location that the Worthington Buca di Beppo resides in, at 60 E. Wilson Bridge Road. It’s currently unknown when that location will open, considering Buca di Beppo is still open and signed a long-term lease.
