Popular local pizzeria announces fried bologna sandwich pizza special – would you try it?

I know this might sound like an April Fool’s joke, but nope, a local pizzeria is actually serving a fried bologna pizza for their April pizza of the month.

Vick’s Gourmet Pizza, a popular pizzeria located at 7345 E Main St. in Reynoldsburg, announced that their pizza of the month features American cheese sauce, a cheese blend, fried Kahn’s Club Bologna, and a brown mustard drizzle, reminiscent of a fried bologna sandwich.

“Request mayo? Add lettuce, tomato, and onion? Add a handful of crushed Lays potato chips? Add bacon? Pickles? We can’t wait to see what you come up with!” said Vick’s Gourmet Pizza. The pizzas are available in a 10″, 12″, and 14″ option only throughout the month of April.

“Unsuspecting guests in our dining room tonight got to try it out and so far the reviews are ,” said Vick’s on Facebook.

Vick’s is known for their unique pizzas of the month. March’s specialty pizza was a Thai Chili Chicken, and February’s was a chicken & waffle pizza. On their regular menu, you can also find a Philly Cheesesteak pizza all year round, plus a taco pizza and buffalo ranch pie.
