Popular local pizzeria opening new location this year
When Dave Portnoy’s “One Bite Pizza Reviews” gave a local pizzeria an outstanding rating of 8.1/10, it understandably made this already busy pizza shop even more popular.
With three locations already under their belt, Sexton’s Pizza has confirmed that a fourth is officially on its way. “We weren’t even looking,” laughed Joey Sexton, co-owner of Sexton’s, along with his brother Jamey.
Evans Farms in Lewis Center personally reached out to the brothers and asked if they’d be interested in opening a restaurant there. And with their Hilliard restaurant being as successful as it is, Joey said that they knew opening a location in another suburban neighborhood, where families are out & about and riding around via golf cart, would be a great idea.

The new location is hopefully opening this winter at 5880 Evans Farm Dr., Suite H in Lewis Center. It features an indoor bar with an outdoor attachment, and they’ll be serving up their famous charred, New-York pies with handmade dough, plus their hand-cut pies, wings, and cocktails and beers. “We’ll also have live music nights and all that,” remarked Joey.
At their Hilliard location, they feature a signature “Detroit Motown” pizza, and Joey said that they have some special ideas for a pizza unique to their Lewis Center location, too.
As for now, you can grab the highest-rated pizza in Columbus by Dave Portney in Hilliard, Gahanna, and their shop off 3rd Ave.
