A popular spot to grab build-your-own tacos and house-made queso is shuttering in a couple of weeks, but the owners are excited for the future of the space.

Condado Tacos opened their carryout concept in Powell back in 2021, located at 4052 Presidential Parkway. In a press release though, Condado announced they’d be closing the space on September 8, and it would be transforming into a private event space and test kitchen. It will also serve as a marketing studio for all of their photo content!

“We are thrilled about this pivot and believe it reflects our dedication to culinary creativity and exceptional customer experiences,” Chief Marketing Officer Sara Kear said in a press release. “Our Powell location will now be a focal point for our entire company, developing innovative flavors and menu items, setting the stage for the future of Condado Tacos.”

Due to the sudden closure, Condado is offering free delivery to Powell residents from other Condado locations around the city for a limited time only.
