In less than a week’s time, the popular Mexican eatery Don Tequila Mexican Grill & Cantina will officially open the doors of its newest location.

According to a social media post, the restaurant will hold the Grand Opening of its Northwest Side eatery on July 24.

The new Don Tequila is located at 1540 Bethel Rd. in Columbus. The restaurant will be taking over the former home of Texas Roadhouse, which closed last fall after 20 years.

“Delight your senses as we celebrate our grand opening with delicious dishes made with the best ingredients and a festive atmosphere that will make you want to dance,” the restaurant’s post reads.

This will be Don Tequila’s fifth central Ohio outpost. The local chain operates other locations in Dublin, North Columbus, Powell and Upper Arlington.
