Taco concept that was named among Yelp’s highest rated closes

Last year, the Foxfire Tacos food truck was named one of the city’s highest-rated taco spots in a Stacker story that relied on Yelp reviews.

Now in 2024, the eatery announced it has closed.

“Tacofam, we have closed down,” a Facebook post from Foxfire Tacos reads. “I want to thank you for all your support over the years, I couldn’t have done it without any of you.”

It’s unclear when the concept officially closed for business, but the truck would regularly post its upcoming locations to its social media pages, and its last Facebook post related to its schedule was made on June 15.

It’s unclear what caused the food truck to shutter.

Billed as authentic Mexican tacos served with a variety of house-made sauces, Foxfire Tacos originally launched in 2016.
