Third concept from Pelino’s Pasta owners opens this week in former Tasi restaurant

Last November, Vince and Christina Pelino, owner of the popular restaurant, Pelino’s Pasta, opened their second concept, Piazza Pelino, in the building that once housed Short North Piece of Cake.

This weekend, they’re opening their third concept, Pelino’s on Pearl, at 680 N. Pearl St. in the former Tasi space, which closed last August after 17 years of business in the Short North.

“When both of these spots went down, we knew it was a bummer for our community, and we decided to reimagine these spaces and keep them alive,” Vincent Pelino emphasized.

Pelino’s on Pearl serves as an event space and specialized dining experience, where they’ll offer elevated pasta cooking classes, chef’s tastings, wine tastings, and an upscale space for large parties and events.

Their first dinner experience is this Friday, March 22, starting at 6:30 pm. It’s a 4 course wine dinner featuring Vignalta wines. Reserve your spot here for $85! And please note, although Open Table shows the address as their King Ave. spot, there’s a note at the bottom that says it will actually be located at their new 680 N. Pearl St. space.

Other upcoming events at Pelino’s on Pearl include a March Pasta Making Class and Three Course Dinner on March 23, and a Pasta Making Class and Dinner on April 6, too! Reserve your spot for those under the “Experiences” tab on Open Table.
