This Ohio city is hosting a ‘Chicken War’

Next month, a chicken war is going to break out in Toledo.

Chicken War at the Toledo Farmer’s Market, which is located at 525 Market Street in Toledo, will take place on Sept. 28 from 5-11 p.m.

The event is hosted by the Business Building Movement and the Glaze Gourmet Funnel Cakes food truck, and is free to the public.

The full vendor list hasn’t been announced yet, but Toledo’s Chicken War (billed as an event with “Chicken! Chicken! And more Chicken!) will allow visitors to purchase chicken dishes from a large number of food trucks and pop-ups.

In addition, the event will also host a variety of non-food vendors, allowing visitors to shop will they engage in Chicken War. We do not believe any actual war will be taking place.
