Twenty-three different TVs displaying hard-to-find sports, plus smash burger sliders and craft cocktails – what more could you need at central Ohio’s newest upscale sports bar?

The new concept, called 1801 Tavern, is located at 9721 Sawmill Rd. in Powell, in the former Shorty’s Pizza, which closed last year. They’re opening this Thursday, April 11th, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at noon. They’re inviting you to join along and be one of their first customers!

Their scratch-made food, made by the local restaurant Mangiamo, includes shareables like whipped basil ricotta dip, plus a variety of sliders, sandwiches, pizza, wings, fries, and so much more.

1801 Tavern serves a variety of classic cocktails as well as a rotating, seasoning craft cocktail menu. Their spring cocktail menu includes a Honey Hibiscus Old Fashioned and a Cilantro Jalapeno Margarita, plus many other floral and herb forward options. Draft, bottled, canned, and N/A beer options are available, too.

The 27 TVs boast sports that are difficult to view elsewhere, such as MLS, Premier League soccer, and even rugby, plus all of the sports you’d normally expect to find at a sports bar. They’ll be open Sunday through Tuesday, noon-midnight, closed Wednesday, Thursday, noon-midnight, and Friday and Saturday, noon to 2:30am.
