Wendy’s unveils new 50-piece nugget bucket; Seemingly fires shot at McDonald’s

Wendy’s has unveiled a massive new nugget bucket, and potentially fired a veiled shot at one of its largest competitors along the way.

Earlier this month, the Dublin, Ohio-based burger chain released the Wendy’s Nuggs Party Pack that holds between 45-50 nuggets (based on weight).

“Celebrating our unmatched chicken nugget fandom while also delivering the value our customers have come to expect from us,” Lindsay Radkoski, CMO of Wendy’s U.S., said in a press release. “With exclusive deals and even bigger ways to Nugg, our Nuggs Party Pack and Wendy’s Wednesdays are all about satisfying our fans’ cravings.”

The Nuggs Party Pack, which is offered for $15 in most states, are only available at select locations across the country. You can visit WendysNuggsParty.com to locate the eatery nearest you offering Party Packs, via an interactive map.

From the map, it appears the nuggets are being offered throughout central Ohio.

And speaking of WendysNuggsParty.com, the implementation of the website seems to serve a dual purpose, as it also appears to take a veiled shot at McDonald’s. While it doesn’t explicitly mention the competing burger chain, a press release for the Nuggs Party Pack notes that Wendy’s partnered with Rashiq Zahid, the creator of mcbroken, a website that provides an interactive map of McDonald’s ice cream machines that are reported broken.
