According to ‘Realtor.com,’ Columbus one of the country’s hottest housing markets

According to Realtor.com, you can count the number of housing markets hotter than Columbus’ on just one hand.

The website’s “hotness score” system scored Columbus recently as the 5th-hottest housing market in the country in March,

The realty website saw The Arch city with a hotness score of 94.6, below only Springfield (MA), Worcester (MA), Rochester (NY) and Manchester-Nashua (NH).

Another Ohio city some may not expect rounded out the list of the country’s hottest markets. The northeast Ohio city of Akron took the list’s 11th spot, with a hotness score of 91.5.

The score uses a complex ranking system that incorporates a housing supply and demand score, inventory and pricing shifts, page views per property listing and more.

Realtor.com updates its hotness scores monthly for the country’s top 300 housing markets regularly.
