Coffee shop that opened this week already broken into; burglar chugged gallon of milk

Kokomo Juice & Coffee just held their soft opening last Sunday, and the German Village/Southern Orchards/Schumacher Place crowd (myself included) has been absolutely loving the strawnilla nitro, fresh pressed juices, and espresso tonics.

Well, almost everyone has been loving the new place. According to Kokomo’s owners, a person threw a cement brick chunk through their pick-up window two evenings ago, climbed through, and disturbed their new coffee shop.

The person knocked over the tip jar and dumped the change out, but then put all the bills back in the jar. They also moved the cash register to the right about 3 inches, but didn’t unplug it or steal anything from it.

They did, however, steal something – they opened the fridge, grabbed an unopened whole milk gallon, and chugged a third of it, leaving the fridge open and the gallon open on the ground.

Kokomo is back open today! Show your support by visiting them at 694 Parsons Ave., every day from 6am-7pm (until they adjust their hours).
