Dublin Community Pool South, located at 6363 Woerner Temple Road, was forced to close on June 21 and June 22 after a man was found dead in the pool.

“The City of Dublin encourages people to be respectful when sharing information about suicide without giving detailed information about the death to the community. This can be a critical time for other people with suicidal ideation,” said the police press release.

If you or someone you know is having suicidal thoughts, reach out for support. Call 911 to contact police if in crisis. You can also call or text 988 to connect with the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, which provides 24/7 confidential support for people in distress as well as prevention and crisis resources. You will be connected with a trained counselor through this service.
