Good schools? Check. Cool coffee shops? Check. Nearby grocery store? Check. Safe? Check. Rich…? Uh, check.

The aforementioned could be a checklist to consider when deciding where to buy your next home. Of course, your budget could limit you on where you choose, but if you’re someone who prioritizes safety, security, and wealth, then GOBankingRates.com knows the perfect place for you. In this study, Ottawa Hills, OH ranked the 6th “Safest & Richest City” in the entire U.S. This village near Toledo boasts a family-oriented lifestyle, tree-lined streets, a meandering creek, abundant wildlife, and lush greenery. The historical homes also offer architectural significance, with many of them ranging from Tudor Revival to Mid-Century Modern. The village started in 1922, with a vision by John North Willys to create an “upscale” residential community. To this day, it’s still that.
