Eat your way through the state with Ohio Beef Council’s passport program

Jack McLaughlin

From tapas to smash burgers, the Ohio Beef Council’s passport program is back and better than ever this year.

The program, which officially launched this year on May 1, will run until Sept. 1.

Free to use, the Eat Beef Ohio Passport program aims to reward restaurant-goers while highlighting the culinary versatility of beef throughout some of Ohio’s most popular eateries, including Columbus favorites Barcelona and Preston’s: A Burger Joint.

Here’s the full list of this year’s participating restaurants.

You can participate by downloading the mobile-exclusive passport here, or by scanning QR codes at participating locations. Each check-in at passport eateries will earn participants points toward a drawing for a special beef prize pack, and select eateries will offer discounts and deals to passport-holders.

“Ohio’s cattle farmers take great pride in the beef they raise. We think the change of seasons is a great time to kick off this statewide celebration of beef “ said Ohio Beef Council Chairman Erin Stickel. “We look forward to sharing great beef-eating experiences with all of Ohio.”
