This year’s festival will be held on Oct. 4 from 4-7:30 p.m. at The Yard at Easton Town Center.

The family-friendly event will feature a caricature artist, face painting, a photo booth, a beer truck and–of course–plenty of mac & cheese.

Tickets, which can be purchased here, are $30 for adults and $10 for children under the age of 13. Admission gives visitors access to samples from more than a dozen local eateries serving up the popular dish, including:

The annual event is about more than just mac & cheese as well. Created by Ohio State University and hosted by the NextGen James Ambassadors Society and Easton Community Foundation, the festival is held as a fundraiser for cancer research.

Since its inception, the Columbus Mac & Cheese Festival has raised over $411,000, and according to Ohio State’s Assistant Director of Community Partners & Fundraising Events Cherai Morris, it hopes to reach the $500,000 after this year’s event. You can donate on your own here. The funds raised will benefit Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) cancer programming and research at the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute.
