New Grandview-area ramen bar announces grand opening date
Less than two weeks ago, Hiro Ramen & Tea open on the city’s Northwest Side. And in only a matter of weeks, Columbus plans to welcome another exciting new ramen concept.
That’s because the grand opening of Kyushu Ramen, an anticipated new ramen bar coming to the Grandview area, has just been announced.
According to owner Leon Zhu, the eatery will hold its official grand opening on April 1.

Kyushu Ramen is located at 1280 W. 5th Ave., in Fifth by Northwest.
Zhu, who has previous Columbus Restaurant concepts under his belt and currently owns Yun Nan Crossing Bridge Noodle, plans to serve traditional Japanese-style ramen to patrons seated bar-style.
The 1,200 square foot Kyushu Ramen location, which formerly served as a Pak Mail storefront, has been under construction since last spring. It was expected to open earlier this year, but was pushed back due to staffing shortages.
