Wendy’s announces global redesign for restaurants; Here’s how they’ll look
Yesterday morning, the Dublin-based burger chain Wendy’s announced a brand-new global design standard for its restaurants.
Incorporating these new elements, Wendy’s eateries will feature a sleeker, more modern aesthetic, and will include multiple new features. These include:
–Dedicated pick-up windows for food delivery drivers
–Mobile order parking spots and pick-up shelves
–New galley-style kitchen layout
–Upgraded technology allowing Wendy’s to handle more digital business than before
–In-store ordering kiosks

“To accelerate our business and expand our footprint across the globe, we must consistently meet the needs of our customers however they choose to engage with Wendy’s, whether that’s through a digital platform or in the drive-thru” said Wendy’s President and CEO Todd Penegor in a press release.
The first Wendy’s restaurant with these upgrades will open in New Albany next year.
