One dead after shooting outside Columbus Dairy Queen
One man has died following a confrontation and shooting at a Dairy Queen on the city’s North Side.
According to Columbus Police, officers responded to a call at the Dairy located at 1900 Tamarack Cir. South just before 4 p.m. on Sept. 4.
Adrian Carr, 33, was found at the scene and declared dead at 3:59 p.m.

Police said Carr was rummaging through the trash outside of the Dairy Queen. He approached an individual brandishing a stick, and that individual shot him, before reporting the incident to 911. The shooter remained at the scene until police arrived.
Police will present the case to the Franklin County Prosecutor’s Office to determine if charges will be filed.
