Central Ohio natives bring Columbus-style pizzeria to Arizona

For anyone from central Ohio, the sight of a pizza with a cracker-thin crust and square-cut pieces typically means you’re back home in Columbus.

But that’s not always the case.

In 2017, a pair of Franklin County natives launched an eatery selling Columbus-style pizzas and buckeye candies. We might be a bit outside of the delivery range on this one though, since it’s located in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The restaurant, which is called Crust Brothers Pizza, was founded by Columbus natives Eddie and Mark Miller. After stints in multiple Columbus-area eateries, the duo reunited in Phoenix in 2017, and launched Crust Brothers shortly afterwards.

The Arizona eatery focuses on thin and crispy Columbus-style pizzas that—from a photograph—would fit right in here in central Ohio. The restaurant also offers sub sandwiches, salads and more.

And while there’s only one item on the dessert menu, it just so happens to be Nanny’s House Made Peanut Butter Buckeyes, another Ohio staple.
