Cooking reality show filmed in Columbus to air this spring
A new Columbus-based reality show is set to crown a leader in the world of meatless cooking.
“Top Vegan,” a new show hosted by co-owner of local plant-based eatery 4th & State and the Vegan restaurant Eden Burger, will involve eight top chefs versed in the preparation of plant-focused food.
Following the design of popular reality food-based series shows such as “Chopped” and “Top Chef,” one contestant will be eliminated at the end of each episode. A panel of judges pulled from the Columbus cooking scene will include former Columbus chef like Catie Randazzo (of Challah! Food Truck and Ambrose & Eve), Aaron Grouse from Parable Coffee and Stephanie Gussler, owner of the food truck Tabouli Cafe.

The winner will receive $10,000 in addition to a business mentorship.
“Top Vegan” will be filmed at Columbus State Community College’s The Mix, the school’s state-of-the-art culinary facility.

“We’re trying to make something that I think is severely lacking in the competitive cooking reality series as a whole,” director of “Top Vegan” Logan Solana said in a press release. “We want to show the world that going vegan is possible in 2023, and you don’t have to give up the things you love on an all-vegan diet.”
The show will premiere on YouTube this spring.
